Mumbai: Vistas Media Capital will launch VistaVerse, its first metaverse experience, in collaboration with Lotus Meta Entertainment and in association with Raaj Kamal Films International’s much-anticipated film, Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil, music by Anirudh, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and produced by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran.
VistaVerse, Vistas Media Capital’s soon-to-be-launched metaverse, will also offer Vikram NFTs, which will allow buyers access to the experience as well as many more real-world utilities such as access to unique artwork of characters, digital avatars, props, posters, mystery boxes, film memorabilia, fan interaction moments, private screenings, access to a travelling VistaDome party by invitation only, and the option to convert some of the NFTs to actual currency. The limited-edition Vikram NFTs will be unveiled to the worldwide film elite during the Cannes Film Festival.
Globally, the world is shifting toward NFTs that provide utility to their holders, and Vikram NFTs are the first of their kind in India, providing extremely real benefits to the owner. Vikram NFTs would also provide preferential access to virtual land sales in Mumbai and Chennai in VistaVerse, India’s first such in-game asset.
VistaVerse is a metaverse that Vistas Media Capital will establish in an exclusive cooperation with Lotus Meta Entertainment, and it will include virtual land sales, experiences, games, and a marketplace. VistaVerse has several relationships in place with big brands, celebrities, musicians, gaming businesses, artists, and production houses in India in order to provide a one-stop metaverse experience. While this is the first of its kind, VistaVerse intends to launch many more in the coming months.
“We are extremely delighted to announce the debut of Vikram NFTs in Vistaverse, which is the first such utility-based NFTs with many advantages to the owner,” said Abhayanand Singh, Group CEO of Vistas Media Capital, of the Vistaverse launch. We think VistaVerse is India’s first actual and practical metaverse, supported by 350 creative enthusiasts from Vistas Media Capital’s seven enterprises.” “It has been a joy to be a part of Fantico, and I look forward to Vistaverse, which is ideally poised to establish a connection between fans, fandom, and talent in a language and platform that the young today connects to,” veteran actor Kamal Haasan said of the opening of Vistaverse. I am certain that this will serve as a model for other producers to exploit blockchain’s disruption of content in their future endeavours.”
