Santa Barbara has become a world hub for this exhilarating international dance style because to the ardent participation of fans during the Flamenco Arts Festival. The Santa Barbara FAF has hosted artists and audiences from all over the world in the past for live performances that typically last four days. These in-person events have been postponed due to COVID, but it hasn’t stopped the Festival from shooting and editing a series of eight original short films in 2021.
Viewers are invited to attend a pair of programmes on Saturday, April 23, and Sunday, April 24, each of which features previously unseen footage. On Saturday, Mara Moreno will perform an experimental dance piece, and on Sunday, video from the Festival de Jerez in Spain will be shown.
