The EIT Health Summit 2022 will be held on the 24th and 25th of May, and there is still time to register!

The highly anticipated EIT Health Summit 2022 will take place in-person and online from the 24th to the 25th of May 2022 at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, and there’s only one month left to register!

This year’s flagship event, hosted by EIT Health (a body of the European Union), will bring together experts to discuss how healthcare systems can incorporate and reform new care delivery and financial approaches, learn from the impact of COVID-19, and ensure that healthcare systems are sustainable, resilient, and prepared for future health threats.

In light of the obstacles, the COVID-19 situation has underlined the need for innovative ideas and new methods of working more than ever before.

In light of this, EIT Health has put up an intriguing agenda for this year’s Summit, which includes professional opinions and perspectives from healthcare thought leaders from across the world. The Advisory Group, which comprises professionals from the European Commission, Karolinska Institutet, European Patients’ Forum, OECD, BioMed Alliance, and others, ensures that the material provides the most cutting-edge issues and thinking.

With world-class speakers hitting the stage for inspiring speeches, interactive Q&As, and workshops, the two-day hybrid event will examine how we might construct a framework for transformation. Participants will have the rare chance to listen to and interact with some of the most progressive minds in healthcare, whether they attend in person in Stockholm or remotely.

Audrey Tang, Taiwan’s Digital Minister, Andrzej Ry, Director of Health Systems, Medical Products & Innovation DG Santé at the European Commission, Anna Sandström, Director Science Policy and Relations Europe at AstraZeneca, Jessica Mahoney, Policy Analyst at the OECD, Martin Kern, Director of the European Institute of Innovation & Technology, and Lucien Engelen, CEO at Transform.Health and Singularity University are among the confirmed speakers. The event will feature speeches and debates on next-generation healthcare and human-centered innovation, as well as how to rethink health governance and policy and the evolution of the life sciences sector. The EIT Health Catapult Final & Award Ceremony will take place on Day 1 of the Summit.

The second day’s agenda is as interesting, with telemedicine and healthcare innovation and investment taking centre stage, as well as a concluding plenary discussing the transition to a “Healthcare Renaissance.” Anyone working in the healthcare or life sciences industries should mark their calendars for the Summit!

The EIT Health Summit 2022 will be held in Stockholm, but selected sessions and networking opportunities will be offered online via an events platform that will allow delegates to tune in virtually.
