IIM Bangalore to host a virtual session on the mental health and well-being of students

The Centre for Teaching and Learning, IIM Bangalore, will host a panel discussion on the mental health and well-being of students on January 17.

Both management educators and students will attend the panel discussion, which will be the ninth session in the Samiksha series of webinars. The discussion will be held at a time when increasing cases of suicide and depression among young learners are being reported from different parts of Karnataka.

Indian Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra, NIMHANS associate professor Urvakhsh Mehta and clinical psychologist Rathna Issac will speak on the occasion. Vasanthi Srinivasan, who teaches Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources Management at IIM Bangalore, will moderate the session.

To register for the virtual event, candidates need to fill out a Google form. After they register successfully, they will receive the Zoom meeting link to attend the webinar one or two days before the session.
